Mrs. Peter B. Graves died early Sunday morning at a local hospital, following an illness of several months.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from the Reformed church, Rev. J.M. DeVries having charge of the services. Interment was made in the Sibley cemetery.

Mrs. Katherine(sic) Graves was born in Germany, November 1st, 1877. With her parents, she came to Carroll county in 1883. She removed to Osceola county in 1895. She was married to Peter B. Graves, at Sibley in 1896. Aside from her husband she leaves five children, Bert, Wessel, Harold, Clyde and Clarence.

NOTE: Gravestone records note first name should be spelled as Catherine and her maiden name was Wessels.
