Ronald Vande Hoef
Ronald Vande Hoef, 40, of Sibley died suddenly Monday, March 10, 1986 in a hospital in Sibley. Services were held at the First Reformed Church in Sibley on Thursday, March 13, 1986. The Rev. James Boogerd officiated. Burial was at the
Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley. Mr. Vande Hoef was born May 2, 1945, in Sioux County. He was raised on a farm near Inwood and graduated from West Lyon High School. He attended Nettleton Business College in Sioux Falls, S.D.

He married Kathleen Zwikker June 4, 1965, in Sioux Falls. They made their home in Sioux Falls until 1966 when they moved to Colton, S.D., where he worked on a farm until 1969. They then moved to Rock Rapids where he farmed until 1971 when they moved to a farm near Sibley. Mr. Vande Hoef was a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Sibley. He was a director of Osceola County Cattle Feeders Association and served
as Swine Superintendent of Osceola County Fair for many years.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Calvin of West Lafayette, Ind.; two daughters, Renee and Samantha, both of Sibley; his mother, Rena Vande Hoef of Rock Valley; two brothers, Jake and John, both of Rock Valley and a sister, Helen Vande Hoef of Sioux Falls.
