Lamoille, Dies Here

Mrs. Martha Bremmer, a resident of Lamoille, died at 1:45 Friday morning at the Deaconess hospital where she had been a patient for three days. Her first illness was a stroke suffered Tuesday. Death was due to apoplexy.

Mrs. Bremmer was born March 25, 1857, in Jackson County, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Green. She lived there until she was 20 years of age.

She was married to Henry Bremmer at Sibley in 1878. They continued to live there until 1895, when they moved to Iowa Falls. After Mr. Bremmer's death, she lived various places until moving to Lamoille, in September 1941.

Mrs. Bremmer is survived by four children, James Henry Bremmer, of Eldora, Carl Jerry Bremmer of Nuevo, California, Earl Leroy Bremmer and Mrs. Sterling Emens of San Francisco, California and a sister, Mrs. Harry Peters of Kansas City, Missouri.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist church joining in 1880, and a member of the Rebekahs in Iowa Falls. Service will be held at the Pursel Funeral Home, Monday morning at 10:20 in charge of Rev. W. A. Dalton and burial will be in Riverside.
