Services are Held Here Saturday for Mrs. Henry Hibbing

Funeral services were held at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church, here, Saturday at 2:00 for Mrs. Henry Hibbing who had died the previous Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Richard Warnke. Burial took place in Prairie View cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Martin Peters officiated at the services.

Mrs. Henry (Emma) Hibbing was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brinkert, born Nov. 15, 1869, at Beecher, Illinois. In 1890 she came to the Germantown community with her parents.

On April 2, 1893 she was married to Henry Hibbing with the Rev. Mr. Jacob Horn performing the ceremony. Six sons and six daughters were born to them.

After their marriage the Hibbings lived on a farm northwest of Paullina. They retired to Paullina in 1924. Henry Hibbing preceded his wife in death on April 3, 1928, Mrs. Hibbing was 83 years, 9 months and 3 days of age when she died on August 18, 1953.

Mrs. Hibbing is survived by her sons Henry, Emil, Herman. Ernest and Carl of Paullina and Edward of Long Beach, Calif. And by her daughters Rosie (Mrs. Albert Kruse) of Long Beach, Calif., Emma (Mrs. Frank Pauling), Ida (Mrs. Richard
Warnke, Alwina (Mrs. Leon Omer) and Ella (Mrs. Orville Hatfield) all of Paullina and Anna of Long Beach; 36 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
