William Thompson, Paullina, a veteran of World War II, died Sunday morning at the Veterans Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D. at the age of 56. Ill for some time, he entered the hospital on April 12 and died on April 30.

Funeral services were held here Wednesday afternoon at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. J. Paul Boaz officiating. Interment was in [West] Prairie View Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his father, Abel, Thompson, Paullina, who has recently been making his home at Brewster, Minnesota; one sister, Mrs. C.B. Larson, Brewster, Minnesota. An Obituary will be published next week.
