Extended Illness Takes Life of Emil Kruse; Services Today

Funeral services will be held here this afternoon (Wednesday) for Emil Kruse who died Saturday morning at Ward Memorial Hospital in Primghar. He had been in poor health for a long time though his condition was not critical until a short time before his death, at the age of 77. After farming for many years near Germantown, Mr. and Mrs. Kruse moved to Paullina 24 years ago.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 a t the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev J. Paul Boaz officiating. Gaudian Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Soloists will be Mrs. A. C Horstman, accompanied by Mrs. Marvin Smith.

Pallbearers are Frank Pauling, Leslie Lange, Clifford Riedemann Orlynn Strampe, Edward Hattermann and Karl Davis.

Surviving are: his widow, a sister, Mrs. Mary Riebesell of Calumet and a brother, Otto, Paullina.
