Marie Haht (1894-1960)

Funeral services were held here Monday afternoon for Marie Haht, who died at the Primghar hospital March 17, following an illness of five weeks. She was 65 years of age, having been born at Paullina June 18, 1894. She had been making her home with her brother Emil Haht of Granville.

Services were held at the Gaudian Funeral Home and at Zion Lutheran Church at 2:00. The Rev. Paul Sohn was the officiating clergyman. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery, here.

The deceased is survived by five brothers and two sisters: John Haht of Rapid City, Ernest of Primghar, William of Sanborn, Harry of San Francisco, California and Emil of Granville.

Sisters surviving are Mrs. Jerry Knuth (Velma) and Mrs. Ronald DeWaay (Agnes) and Mrs. Louis Haht, a sister-in-law.
