Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 7, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Primghar for Helen Zoe Toal with Father Lloyd White officiating. St. Anthony's choir furnished the music. Pallbearers were Jake Merry, Howard Tiemens, Cornie Verdoorn, Donald Biery, Marvin Hoppe and Gary Behrens. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Primghar with Gaudian Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Helen Zoe Yeager, daughter of B. Roy and Ida Yeager, was born July 29, 1907 at Primghar, Ia. She grew up in Primghar and graduated from Primghar High School. She was married to William Toal on Dec. 3, 1926, and to this union eight children were born. They spent most of their married life in O'Brien County.

Because of ill health Zoe spent the past several years in the nursing home. Sbe spent two years in the Verdoorn Nursing Home at Ashton, and on completion of Rest Haven Manor she came to join her husband, Wm. Toal, where she resided until the time of her death on July 5.

She is survived by her husband, Wm. Toal of Primghar, four daughters, Mrs. Merlynn Miller (Pat) of Sheldon, Mrs. Wayne Raymond (Beverly) of Primghar, Mrs. Ronald Biery (Barbara) of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Paul Feldotto (Sharon) of Paullina; three sons, William of George, Dan of Des Moines and Jon of Cedar Rapids; 23 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Tom (Doris) Robinson of Montevideo, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lorayne and one brother, Ted Yeager.
