Peter William Rahbusch, 39, of Springfield, Mo., died Saturday at Cox South Hospital , Springfield, following a brief illness.

Services were held Wednesday,August 21, 1996 at 10:30 a.m.at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Cherokee, with Rev. LeRoy Reimer officiating. Burial was in the Afton Township Cemetery, Cherokee.

Mr. Rahbusch was born September 25, 1956 in Primghar, Iowa to William Peter and Betty (Martin) Rahbusch. He graduated from Sutherland High School in 1975. Peter farmed in the Sutherland area from 1974 to 1985. He moved to Springfield, Missouri in 1985 where he worked as a carpenter and later opened his own business where he did photography work, framing and matting.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Winter and her husband, Paul R., of Buffalo Center, Iowa; 3 sisters: Barb Wren of Cherokee, Debra Welte and her husband Kirk of Anthon, Iowa, Amy Johnson and her husband Michael of Rake, Iowa; 2 step-brothers and 1 step-sister, 6 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Sharon Decker, August 25, 1991, and a brother in infancy.
