Letha Leone Draper, nee Dodge,
the daughter of Milo and Fanny
Bogue Dodge, was born September
25, 1894 at Larrabee in Cherokee
County, Iowa. She passed away
at Primghar, Iowa in the hospital
there on September 1, 1972 at
the age of 77.

She was educated in area
schools near her home and was
a member of the Baptist church.
Except for three years spent in
Nebraska, she was a lifetime resident
of the Sutherland area.

On December 24, 1913 she was
united in marriage at Primghar,
Iowa to Leroy Draper. They became
the parents of five children.
Preceding her in death were her
parents, one brother and two sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are
her husband, two sons, Merlyn
and Robert of Sutherland, three
daughters, Mrs. Lome (Dorothy)
Shook of Sioux City, Mrs. Donald
(Joyce) Hicks of Scranton, Iowa,
Mrs. Paul (Dolores) Raper of Cherokee,
Iowa; sixteen grandchildren,
eighteen great-grandchildren
one brother, Harold Dodge of Pahrump,
Nevada, two sisters, Mrs
Ruth Leckliter of Prescott, Arizona
and Mrs. Lester (Mary) Draper
of Sutherland, as well as many
other relatives and friends.
