Frank Traver, for many years a resident of Paullina passed away suddenly here Sunday afternoon. Mr Traver was well known in this community where he worked for many years at his trade. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon

Mr. Frank Traver was born in Scott county. Ill, August 29th. 1868 and passed away very suddenly at his home in Paullina, Iowa Sunday June 14th. 1942 He was 73 years 9 months, and 14 days old.

He came with his parents to Iowa about 1882, and settled on a farm at Odebolt, where he remained until about 38 years ago. At that time he came to Paullina Iowa where he worked at the carpenter trade and draylng for a number of years. He remained in Paullina until the end.

Mr. Traver was united in marriage to Hannah Caroline Knutson Nov 16th, 1893. Ten children were born to their union. Four sons and six daughters. They spent the most of their married lives in Paullina She preceded him in death August 26th 1934.

He was a son of Mr and Mrs Luther Traver who preceded him in death many years ago.

Mr. Traver leaves to mourn their loss four sons and six daughters as follows: Mrs. Hazel Soull. of Grand Colee, Wash.; Mrs. Denton Culp. of Spokane, Wash.; Chester Traver of Paullina; Buell Traver of Paullina; Mrs. Peter Nielsen of Glendale. Calif ; Eldon Traver of Paullina: Mrs. Earl Meaner of Paullina; Miss Leila Traver of Primghar; Mrs. Walter Mesner of Paullina, and Willet Traver of Paullina. There are twenty-one grandchildren.

His brothers and sisters are as follows: Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. Those living are Mrs. A. P. Cranston, of Odebolt. Iowa; Lewis Traver of Early. Iowa: Mrs. Theodore Schroeder, Odebolt, Iowa; Eugene Traver, Edmonds, Washington; Mrs. Harry Schroeder. Madison, S. D.; and Luther Traver. Salix, Iowa.

Rev. J. M. Howdeshell of the Grace Methodist church officiated at the funeral services Wednesday afternoon in the. Edon Traver home after which the remains were laid to rest bealde his wife in the Prairie View cemetery. Erna Joyce Eyer and Dorothy Mattice assisted in funeral service with two duets.
