1878—Henrietta O. Hamilton—1937

Henrietta Olsen Hamilton, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Olsen, was born at Linn Grove, Iowa, Jan. 26, 1878, and passed away at the Sioux Valley hospital in Cherokee, Iowa, September 20, 1937, at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 20 days. She was baptized and confirmed in the Little Sioux Valley Lutheran church. Her girlhood days were spent in Sutherland.

On September 29, 1907, she was united in marriage with Tom Hamilton of Paullina, Iowa. Soon after their marriage they moved to a farm east of Paullina where they made their home. Henrietta Hamilton was a loving and sincere wife, thoughtful and considerate of all she loved. She bore her many years of suffering patiently and cheerfully, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to mourn her departure from this life her husband, four sisters: Mrs. Ode Ann Heinsen and Mrs. Charles Grubel, both of Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. Guy Hesse of Hartley, Iowa, and Mrs. Henry Seimon of Laurens, Iowa, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the home for Mrs. Tom Hamilton yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Lee of Paulllna in charge Mrs. Hamilton passed away Monday at Sioux Valley hospital in Cherokee of an abdominal infection following an operation. She was 58 years old.

Miss Jean Nott and Herman Behmer furnished the music for the funeral services. Burial was in Waterman cemetery. The pallbearers were Dr. Van Tuyl, Thos. Harries, George Clayton, Rex Baines, James Cousins and John Karstens.
