FERDINAND KIRCH. DEAD.
Stricken by Apoplexy Last Saturday morning and Passed Away Immediately.

Ferdinand F. G. Kirch, the aged father of Mrs. W. Thomas, was stricken by apoplexy last Saturday and before help could be summoned had passed away. On Saturday morning the deceased man was apparantly as well as usual. He was walking in the yard at noon time, when he suddenly was overcome by apoplexy. Mr. Thomas and his daughter carried him into the houso and summoned a physician, who, on his arrival pronounced him dead. He lived to be 80 years, 2 months and 20 days old.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from tho German Lutheran church, Rev. Semmann officiating.

Mr. Kirch was born in Trampo in Pieussen, Germany on the 13 of December, 1829. He was married to Caroline nee Pahsehl on September 30, 1856. Five children were born to them, one of whom died in Germany; the rest all live in this community. In 1883 the deceased came to America with his family, locating at Chicago. There they resided till 1891, when they moved out here to Paullina, to live with their son-in-law, W. Thomas.
