JOHN BOSCH, SR.

John Bosch, Sr. passed away at 1he home of his son Peter, Saturday afternoon, after a several months illness.

Mr. Bosch was horn July 28, 1846 in Netherlands and died at the age of 86 years and three months.

He leaves to mourn his passing, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Zuart and Will Duksen of Rock Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bosch of Sanborn; fourteen grandchildren and many other relatives and a host of friends. His wife and one daughter preceded him in death.

Funeral services were conducted from the First Reformed Church in Sanborn Tuesday, November 1, with Rev. Fiske, local pastor, and Rev. Rev. De Young of Rock Rapids, having charge of the services.

Out-of-town relatives present for the funeral were: Rev. and Mrs. G. Bosch of Cotton, S. D.; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bosch of Steen, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. John Van Onen, Mr. and Mrs. Edd Bosch of Lester; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Bosch, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Zuart of Rock Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Timmer, Mr. and Mrs Dick Groen, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Regenmotes, Mr. and Mrs. Herman WJessiak, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Van Bree, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Van Deest, all of Sioux City.
