MRS. CHARLES BRYANT

Mrs. Charles Bryant, nee Nora Priscilla Wilson, the daughter of Hazlett and Hannah Wickham Wilson, was born May 11. 1880, in Cedar Co., Iowa. She passed into eternal rest at Hartley, Iowa, on July 31, 1964, at the age of 84 years, 2 months, and 20 days.

She came with her parents to O'Brien County in 1881, where they farmed in Grant Township. She attended the public schools near her childhood home, and was baptized in the Methodist Church. In 1897 she was married to Charles L. Bryant. To this union were born four children: Arlie E., Eva Marie, Wilbur R., and Harold E. There are ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family resided on the farm until 1944, when they moved into Hartley. Mrs. Bryant had been a member of a circle of the W. S. C. S. of the Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and five sisters.

Left to mourn her death are: Mr. and Mrs. Arlie E. Bryant and family, Cherokee, Iowa; Miss Eva Marie Bryant, Hartley; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur R. Bryant and family. Canton, S. Dak. Mr. and Mrs. Harold E. Bryant and family, Fort Dodge, Iowa; other relatives and many friends.

Services were held Sunday, Aug. 2, at the Hartley Methodist Church with Rev. D. D. Samuelson officiating. Pallbearers were Merle Haye, Ernest Ahrenstorff, Edwin Zinn, Gilbert Bruegmann, Ernest Wohlert and Clinton Cooper. Burial was made in Pleasant View with Baumgarten Funeral Home in charge.
