MRS. MARY VANDEMARK

Mrs. Mary Vandemark was born April 25, 1874. in Germany and passed away very suddenly Thursday evening, December 16, at 7:10 at the home of her daughter and son in-law, Mr and Mrs. Edward Zahren, being 63 years, 7 months and 21 days old.

She came with her parents from Germany when but a small child and settled near Jackson, Minn In 1894 she was united in marriage to Charles Vandemark and this happy union was blessed with two children Alva, Mrs. Edward Zahren, and one son. Will Vandemark.

Mr Vandemark passed away January 30, 1925, and since that time Mrs. Vandemark has made her home with her daughter and husband, Mr and Mrs. Edward Zahren.

Mrs. Vandemark is survived by her daughter and husband, Mr and Mrs. Edward Zahren, and son Charles, by her son and wife, Mr and Mrs. Will Vandemark, four sisters, one brother and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Vandemark planned for her heavenly home above and on March 28, 1937, united with the Methodist Episcopal Church of Hartley, Ia Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Hartley Monday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev E. J Plummer officiating. Mrs. Plummer and Mrs. Lyle Shinkle furnished the music, accompanied by Mrs. Kelley Interment was made in the Everly Cemetery
