SERVICES HELD FOR ACCIDENT VICTIM

William "Mike" Ferguson, 25, of Sanborn, died Thursday, September 13, 1979 as a result of injuries received in a car accident southwest of Hartley. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 in St. Andrew United Methodist Church at Sanborn. - The Rev. Paul Hansen officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant View Cemetery at Hartley under the direction of the Sanborn Funeral Home. The casket bearers were Greg Han­son, Lyle Donkersloot, Ronald Schott, Tom Crandall, Arlin Kiel and Clayton Pyle.

Mr. Ferguson was born Jan. 13, 1954 in Emmetsburg. He attended school at South Clay and Gillett Grove schools. In 1970 he moved with .his parents from Dickens to Hartley. He married Janet Lyman April 19, 1975. They made their home in Sanborn.

He was employed at the Custom Beef Co. at Hartley. He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

Survivors include the widow; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Ferguson of Hartley; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Earl Ferguson of Ruthven; two brothers, Stanley of Melvin and Robert at home, and one sister, Mrs. Dale (Sherry) Tripp of Hartley. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ben Ferguson.
