SERVICES HELD TUESDAY FOR HARRY GLASER

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 17 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hartley for Harry Glaser. Rev. R. P. Albrecht officiated, and burial was at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Hartley. Casket bearers were Merle Vogt, Arnold Steuck, Warren Jenkins, Elmer Steuck, Earl Parrish and Don Treimer.

Harry Glaser, the son of Fritz and Emma Rinck Glaser, was born on December 19, 1902 in O'Brien County, Iowa. He received his education in the rural schools near his boyhood home.

He was united in marriage to Martha Guse on February 7, 1934 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Their married life was spent farming in O'Brien County until his retirement in 1962. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hartley.

He passed away on August 15, 1982 at his home in Hartley, having reached the age of 79 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant brothers, and one grandson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Martha; one son, Leland and his wife Sherry of Harrisburg, South Dakota; two granddaughters, Shani and Deonn Gla­ser of Harrisburg, South Dakota; three brothers, Clarence, Leonard and Fred, all of Hartley; two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Adelia) Pippert of Hartley and Amanda Hilbert of Everly; other relatives and friends.
