JOHANNA W. PRINCE 1907 — 2001

Johanna Wilhelmina (Rynders) Prince, the daughter of John and Johanna (Rysdyk) Rynders, was born in the Netherlands on May 13, 1907. At the age of three, Ann moved with her family to Chicago, 111. and later to Sioux County, Ia

Ann was united in marriage to Peter Prince on January 30, 1927 at Lebanon, Ia. and to this union three children were bom: Viola, Polly, and Don. Following their marriage, they resided in Lebanon. Hull, and Sanborn. Pete died on November7, 1985.

In her later years. Ann made her home at Prairie View Manor and Prairie View Nursing Home. She died on June 15. 2001 at Prairie View Home at the age of 94 years, one month and three days.

She is survived by her children: Viola Wolthuizen of Luverne. Minn., Polly Hofman of Sanborn, Ia. and Don Prince of Grand Rapids, Mich.: seven grand­children; 11 great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters: Wllma Packard of Hazelcrest, Ill., Martin Rynders of Fort Wayne, Ind., David Rynders of Clearwater Beach, Fla., Margaret Tuininga of Montevideo, Minn., Antonette Rynders of Edina, Minn.; two sisters-in-law: Ordean Prince and Catherine Jones of Sioux City, Ia., other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son-in-law. Joe Wolthuizen, and eight brothers and sisters.

She was a member of Cornerstone United Reformed Church at Sanbom. Special Interests of Ann included crocheting, flowers, reading, and music.
Funeral services were held June 19 at the Cornerstone United Reformed Church at Sanborn with Rev. Jay Wessellng officiating. Casket bearers were Jim Holland. Henry Holland, Harry E. Bosma, Jim Vander Plaats, Fred Boer and Henry Steensma. Congregational hymns were "Lord Thou Hast Searched Me." "All That I Am I Owe to Thee," and "O Lord My Inmost Peart and Thoughts." Donna Hofman was organist Burial was In Roseland Cemetery, Sanborn, with the Sanbom Funeral Home In charge of arrangements.
