FUNERAL OF YOUNG MAN
C. F. Wells Died, at Redfield, S. D.,
and Brought Here for Burial

The remains of Clark F Wells arrived in Sanborn on Sunday morning and were laid to rest in Roseland cemetery in the family plot at 9:00 a. m. that day. The young man had passed away Thursday of last week at Redfield, S D , following a short illness with pneumonia.

A funeral service was conducted at Redfield and a short service was held at the cemetery Sunday morning, Rev W. N Fulcomer, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating.

Clark Fairbank Wells was the son of Mr and Mrs D. R. Wells and was born on February 9, 1893, near Sanborn and was 24 years, 2 months aud 10 days old at the date of his death.

He resided here with his parents until about eight years ago when, following the death of his mother, he left with his father and sister and took up his residence in Sioux Falls, S. D. For some time he had been suffering from chronic ailment and had been at hospital in Redfield. A short time ago he contracted a severe cold which developed into pneumonia.

The father of the decedent, D. R. Wells, and a sister, Mrs. J. B. Allen, of Sioux Falls, S.D., are the immediate surviving relatives Both accompanied the remains to Sanborn. Their many friends, extend heartfelt sympathy to them in their bereavement.
