Napoleon Remillard, 96 of Hartley, died Friday at the Hartley hospital. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Baumgarten Funeral Home. The Rev. William Tomlinson officiated. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Mr. Remillard was born April 9, 1883 in Clay County. He attended public schools in that county and was a carpenter after finishing school.

He married Mabel Jones, August 18, 1910 in Hartley. He was a member of the United Methodist Church at Hartley and of the Knights of Pythias Lodge. He served as town marshal! of Hartley for years.

Mrs. Remillard died in August of 1978. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James (Virginia) Clark of Newcastle, Pa. and Mrs. Darren (June) Trojahn of Grants Paaa, Ore.; a son, Louis of Temps, Axis.; eight grandchildren and were Don Treimer, Arlo Snider, Harlan Goetach, Warren Mike Barley and Pat Panning.
