Final Rates Held Saturday Afternoon For Mrs. Robinson

Final rites for Mrs. H. J. Robinson, 71, longtime resident of the Sutherland community, who died of a heart attack July 12, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Church of Christ with Joe Eggebrecht, pastor, in charge, directed by the Baumgarten Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bernard Watterson and Mrs. Silas Steele sang "We'll Say Goodnight Here and Good Morn­ing Up There" and "Back of the Clouds." Mrs. Otis Hulser was or ganist. Myron, Roy, and Merrill Hill, Jake Kas, Bernard Kas and Wal­ter Damrau served as pallbearers Mrs. Myron Hill and Mrs. Ed Zahren took care of the flowers. Burial was in Waterman Cemetery.

Mrs. Robinson, who was born in Story county, had lived on farms in this community since 1914, and the past three years she and her husband had resided in Sutherland.

Survivors are her husband, Herbert J. Robinson, a sister, Mrs. A. J. Faber of Minneapolis and other relatives.

Alice Jane Robinson, the daughter of George and Lillian Thurman Briley, was born in Story County, Iowa, December 4, 1889, and passed away suddenly at her home in Sutherland July 12, 1961, at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 8 days. As a girl she attended the public schools in Story County.

On January 4, 1911, she was united in marriage to Herbert J. Robinson at Ames, Iowa. Three years after her marriage she moved to this community, living on a farm until three years ago when the couple moved into Sutherland.

Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Sutherland Church of Christ, and a charter member of the Cheerful Workers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Enoch and Charles Briley.

Survivors are her husband; a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Faber, Minneapolis, Minnesota; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Sorensen of Fort Dodge, and many dear friends.
