SERVICES HELD FOR WILLA WAGNER

Services for Willa Wagner, 90, of Hartley were held Thursday, February 28, 1985, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hartley United Methodist Church, Hartley, with the Reverend Clair Kerns officiating. Casket bearers were Richard Treimer, Tom Melbostad, Wayne Schaa, Trent Treimer, Steve Mel­bostad and Dean Wagner. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Hartley, with the Baumgarten Funeral Home, Hartley, in charge of arrangements.

Willa Alta Wagner, the daughter of Jeff and Winnifred Smith Jenkins, was born November 23, 1894 at Van Horne, Iowa. She attended rural schools near Hartley.

She was united in marriage to Louie Wagner on February 3. 1915 at Spencer, Iowa. They made their home at Hartley. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Hartley.

She passed away at the hospital in Hartley on February 25, 1985 at the age of 90.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband in 1970, one brother, [Arthur Jenkins] and one granddaughter.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters and their husbands: Ruth and Wilbert Treimer of Des Moines; Fern and Herbert Leth of Hartley; and Opal and Joe Strassberg of Camarillo, California; six grandchildren: ten great­grandchildren: other relatives and friends.
