MRS. HUMPHREY OF GRANT TOWNSHIP DIED TUESDAY

News of the death of Mrs. Jennie Humphrey was received in this city Tuesday evening at her late home in Grant township. Death resulted from piamiea at 7:38 p. m.

Deceased has resided in Grant township for some ten years past and was 68 years, 5 months and 23 days of age at the time of death.

She was the mother of five girls, Mrs. Nellie Kirkpatrick, of Wheaton, Minn., Mrs. Hattie Blossomham of Minneapolis, Mrs. Mattie Cowan of Pipestone, Mrs Essie Byers of Peterson and Miss Lillie Humphrey who resided with her mother in Grant. There are three sons, Jess B. Humphrey who resides; in this city, Frank who resides in Everly, and E. C. who resides at Derick, N. D.

The funeral services were conducted, at Peterson today from the M. E. church and the remains laid at rest in the Peterson cemetery.
