John Wencil Mott, was born June 29, 1910 in Paullina, Iowa and passed away Monday, February 18, 2002 at Atherton Baptist Home in Alhambra, California.

Mr. Mott was preceded in death by Helen Rockwell Mott, the mother of his children, one daughter Virginia Anne and only son Roger Dean.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Mott; his daughters, Sister Mary Therese Mott of St. Louis, Missouri, Mrs. Jack Shafer (Peggy); four grandchildren; three great grandsons; and sister, Tacy Harris of Eureka, California.

Memorial services with a reception following at Knox Presbyterian Church, 225 South Hill Ave., Pasadena, California, Sunday, February 24, 2002, 3:00 P.M. Interment will be private.
