1906 - EARL TEST - 1967

Earl, the son of Bertha and Emmett Test, was born July 24, 1906 in Marshall county, Iowa, and passed away October 25, 1967 at the Sioux Valley Hospital, Cherokee, at the age of 61 years.

The family moved to O'Brien county in 1910, to the farm north east of Paullina Earl was graduated from Paullina High School and attended Grinnell College for one year. He farmed near Paullina his entire married life.

On June 5, 1937, he was married to Sybil TincknelL at Alta, Iowa. Two children were born to them, John and Steven. Earl was a member of the [Presbyterian Church of Paullina.

Funeral services were held October 27 at the First Presbyterian Church, the Rev J. Paul Boaz officiating. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery, Paullina. Gaudian Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Art Kimblad, Howard Tjossem, Norman Laue, Delmar Laue, Robert Towe, Severn Towe.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Sybil; his sons, John of Paullina; Steven and his wife, Beverly, of Dubuque; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Test of Friendship Haven, Ft. Dodge; his sisters (Maurine) Mrs. M. I, Welty, of Pocahontas; (Marjorie) Mrs. Monroe Mathison of Canton, S. Dak.; (Faye) Mrs. C. B. Gilliland of Arlington, Va.; his brothers Lowell of Des Moines, and Ray of Falls Church, Va., as well as many other reatives and friends.
