Mrs. Kenneth Medhus Dies
Services Are Held Here Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Kenneth Medhus, 47, were held Saturday afternoon at the Cowan-Gaudian funeral home and at the Presbvterian church, with burial in Prairie View cemetery. The Rev L. R. Middents officiated.

Mrs. Medhus, the former Helen Test, died Wednesday night after a prolonged illness. She had been under care at the home of her mother, Mrs. Bertha Test.

She was born April 15, 1908, in Marshall county. The family moved to Paullina in 1910, where she attended rural and town schools. In 1933 she was married to Kenneth Medhus, and they farmed near Paullina since that time.

She was preceded in death by her father, Emmet Test, in 1947. Survivors include the widower, her mother; three brothers, Lowell Test of Fort Dodge, Earl Test of Paullina> and Ray Test of Washington, D. C, and three sisters, Mrs. M. T. (Maurine) Welty of Pocahontas, Mrs. Monroe (Marjorie) Mathison of Canton, S Dak., and Mrs. C. B. (Faye) Gilliland of Washington, D.C.

Pallbearers were Chris Miller, Tom Aitken, Russell Baldwin, Alvin Horstman, William Johnston and Irwin Heusinkveld. Music was furnished by Mrs. Harold DeJong and Mrs. J. F. Hladky singing "Rock of Ages" and "In the Garden."
