Mrs. Reid West

The funeral services were held Friday, May 22, 1970. for Mrs. Reid West, 34 years of age, at the First Presbyterian Church, who died Tuesday, May 19, at a Sioux Falls hospital following two and one-half year illness of a brain tumor.

Judith (Judy) Tuel was born at Spencer, Iowa June 8, 1935. She was reared in Paullina, Iowa, graduating from Paullina High School. She received her formal education at the University of Iowa graduating with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

Following her marriage to Mr. West, December 30, 1956 at Paullina, she lived in Davenport, Iowa, Rochester, New York and for the past 8 years in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Reid West, three sons, David Russell, Paul Warner and James Reid, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Tuel and two sisters, Mrs. James Taylor, Vermillion, S. D. and Mrs. Elvyn Evans, Sioux City, Iowa.

Committal rites were held at 3:30 p.m1. Friday, May 22, at [West] Prairie View Cemetery, Paullina, Iowa.
