Funeral services were held Monday morning Oct 5. at Zion Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, S.D. for Mrs. Diane L. Fonder. Mrs. Fonder passed away on Thursday, Oct 1 at her home.

Burial was at St. Michael Cemetery in Sioux Falls.

Diane LaNette Niebuhr, daughter of LaVerne Meyer Niebuhr and Wesley W. Niebuhr was born July 26, 1951, in Primghar. She grew up on a farm near Paullina and graduated from Paullina High School in 1969 and soon after moved to Sioux Falls. She was married to Richard M. Fonder on May 26, 1973 in Paullina. They have since lived in Sioux Falls.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Richard; her son Matthew; her daughter Michelle, all of Sioux Falls; her parents Wesley and LaVerne Niebuhr, Paullina; two brothers, David, Sioux Falls; Larry, Canton; one sister, Mrs. Dan (Linda Mickalowski), Sioux Falls, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Niebuhr, all of Paullina.
