RONALD ELGERSMA

Ronald Elgersma, son of John and Anna Elgersma, was born in Primghar, Iowa on August 26, 1934. He lived his youth in the Sanborn vicinity and attended the Sanborn Christian School. He entered the Sheldon Community Memorial Hospital on October 30, 1970 and passed away there on November 1, 1970 at the age of 36 years, 2 months and 5 days.
He is survived By his parents, John and Anna Elgersma of Sanborn; one brother, Maynard of Sanborn and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Horstman and Jean, (Mrs. Elmer Klaver) both of Sanborn and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1970 at 1:30 p.m. from the Christian Reformed Church of Sanborn.

Services Held for Ron Elgersma
Funeral services for Ronald Elgersma, 36, of Sanborn were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p. m. at the Christian Reformed Church of Sanborn with Rev. F. Handlogten officiating. Mr. Elgersma passed away at the Community Memorial Hospital at Sheldon on Sunday, November 1, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Emmett Dummett and Mrs. Charles De Boer sang "In Times Like These" accompanied by Miss Mildred Kroese at the organ. Casketbearers were Eugene Elgersma, Kenneth Elgersma, Gerald Elgersma, Earl Elgersma, Harold Kreykes and Cornie De Jong. Mrs. Fcynor Brower and Mrs. James Van Engen were in charge of flowers. Burial was in Roseland Cemetery with Sanborn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
