Funeral Services For Rev. Rixman Friday

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at one-thirty o'clock at the Foley Funeral Home and at two o'clock at the Trinity Evangelical and Reform­ed Church for Rev. Henry Rixman, former resident of Hartley, lately of Maryland.

Rev. Rixman passed away in Maryland of a heart attack Mon­day. The remains are being ship­ped to Hartley and he will he buried, beside his deceased wife in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Rev. Rixman occupied the pul­pit at Calumet for many years and at the outbreak of the World War gave up the ministry and only returned to the pulpit when assisting in the local church in Hartley during his residence here. Rev. Rixman left Hartley in about 1932 and up until a little over a year ago, made his home with his children, after which he was united in marriage and he and his wife resided in Mary­land until his death.

Rev. Rixman is survived by his wife, three sons, Milton of Cleve­land, Paul of Lakefield and Ar­nold of Fargo, N. Dak.; two daughters, Lydia, Mrs. Lefferdink, of Cleveland, and Amelia, Mrs. Lindaman, of Wellsburg.

He was preceded in death by his first wife in 1932 and a daughter Clara in 1929. Rev. Rixman was about 80 years of age at the time of his death.
