JOHN "Jack" EPPING 1920—1985

John H. "Jack" Epping, was born November 29,1920 at Sanborn, Iowa and attended Sanborn schools.

He married Agatha Krogman on December 9, 1944 at Santa Barbara, Calif. The couple made their home in Sheldon where he was a Fuller Brush salesman for many years.

Mr. Epping passed away August 16 at a Sioux Falls hospital after a short illness.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Charlotte) Mercer of Sanborn and Mrs. Ron (Mary Jo) Chinn of Salinas, Calif., four sons, Ronald of Fargo, N.D., Robert of Sanborn, Steven of Sheldon and Jerry of Primghar; two brothers, James of Peoria, Ill., and Gary of Knoxville; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Peterson of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Bud (Margaret) Lange of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. James (Florence) Perry of West Frankfort, Ill., and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheldon with Monsignor Thomas Donahoe officiating. Burial was in St. Cecelia's Cemetery at Sanborn with the Andringa Funeral Home of Sheldon in charge.
