TAUNTS DRIVE GIRL TO DEATH.
Sanborn, Iown, Aug. 5.—Miss May Tifft, aged 17 years, committed suicide today by plunging her head foremost into a thirty foot curb well at her home in this city. She became despondent on account of taunts made by girls with whom she worked at the Phoenix hotel. She was a girl of irreproachable character. Her mother died one year ago, and since that time she has supported herself.
