Services Held For Clifford Peper

Clifford Peper, a former Paullina resident, passed away at Wenatchee, Washington on February 10 at the age of 58 years. Graveside services were held on Thursday, February 17 at 10 o'clock at the Wenatchee City Cemetery with Silas Shotwell officiating.

Clifford Peper was born at Paullina, Iowa on November 6, 1918 and spent the early part of his life in this area. He later moved to Minnesota where he was employed on a farm. Later he moved to Washington state, making his home in Wenatchee, Wash., for the past 25 years. He was well known in the Paullina, Archer and Primghar area.

Mr. Peper is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Peper of Paullina, one brother Clarence of Paullina, three sisters, Leona Sleep of Lake wood, Calif., Vera Westphal of Paullina and Nellie Ballou of Sanborn. He was preceded in death by his father, Hans Peper.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sleep of Lakewood attended the funeral.
