George Jurgensen Dies at Hospital; Burial is Here

George Jurgensen, a lifelong resident of this area, a framer throughout his married life, and a veteran of World War I, died Saturday in the Veterans Hospital at Omaha, Nebr., at the age of 69. He had been ill for some time.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at Zion United Church of Christ at Calumet. The Rev. Clair A King officiated. Baumgarten Funeral Services was in charge. Special music was by the church choir accompanied by Mrs. Alfred Boldt.

Pallbearers were Curtis Rehder, Burleigh Jurgensen, Delbert Weise, Robert Richter, Burdette Holtgrewe and Rodney Maffin. Mrs. Delbert Jurgensen and Mr. and Mrs. John Hoeppner were in charge of flowers.

Burial was in [WEST] Prairie View Cemetery, Paullina, following military rites conducted by Russel West Post of the American Legion.
