Dwane Gilbert Breyfogle, 88. of Springdale, died April 21. 2005, at Springdale. He was born April 29, 1916 at Primghar, Iowa, the son of George M. and Sadie A. Mast Breyfogle. He was raised in Primghar, Iowa and attended school there.

He married Rita M. Brown on May 17. 1940 at Sutherland, Iowa. They lived in Primghar until May 1942, then moved to Sioux Falls, S D and worked at John Morrell plant there until March, 1968. He retired then and moved to Springdale and continued living there.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Breyfogle of the home, one aunt, Elsie Hass of Rock Rapids, Iowa, one sister-in-law, Maxine Inderiden of Brooklyn Park, MN, three nieces, Ann Van Nest of Armstrong, Iowa, Carol Anderson of Hartley, Iowa and Jean Casey of Lake Placid, Florida, cousins, Milton Meyerdirk of Gilmer, Texas, Lila Brower of Rock Rapids, Iowa, Jodene Hanson of Sioux City, Iowa, Lenora Frick of Hartley Iowa, Betty Chaplin of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Gaylord Hopkis of Primghar, Iowa, Norman Hass of Rock Rapids, Iowa, Rosalie Smelser of Kent, Washington, Donald Karekal of Iowa and L.B. Meyerdirk of Abilene, Texas.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date to be held in Primghar, Iowa.
