MINNIE SCHULZE STEUCK

Mrs. Fredrick Steuck, 92, Primghar, Iowa, died Sept. 11 at home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 14 in Zion Lutheran Church at Paullina. The Rev. Donald Johnson officiated and burial was in the Center Township Cemetery near Primghar under the direction of the Gaudian Funeral Home of Paullina. Pallbearers were Arnold Steuck, Elmer Petersen, Alvin Steffens, Kenneth Steffens, LeRoy Steffens and Ernest Brandt. Mrs. James Meyer sang two hymns with Mrs. Marvin Fintel as organist.

Minnie Stueck, the daughter of Karl and Therese Schulze, was born on December 6, 1880 in Belgenn Germany, and passed away Tuesday, September 11th at her farm home at the age of 92 years; 9 months and 5 days. Minnie was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith in Germany and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Paullina. She came to the United States in February, 1900 at the age of 19 years.

On December 14, 1900 she was married to Fredrick Steuck, and they settled on a farm northeast of Primghar, which was her home until her death.

She is survived by her son Carl of Primghar; four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Nyberg of Tacoma, Washington, Mrs. Rose Helland of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mrs. Sadie Paul of Sioux City, Iowa and Mrs. Marie Carlson of Primghar; 22 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grand-children; and also relatives in Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two daughters, Emma, Mrs. Clarence Steffens, and Alma, Mrs. Glen Carlson.

Funeral services were held in Zion Lutheran Church, Paullina, on Friday, Sept. 14, 2.00 p.m., with the Rev. Donald L. Johnson in charge. Interment was made in the Center Township Cemetery near Primghar, Iowa.
