OBITUARY OF MRS. BERTHA BALDWIN

Mrs. Bertha Auguste Wilhelmine Baldwin, nee Graumann, was born in Pommerania, Germany, Mar 11. 1862, and on March 23 she was baptized. When she was eight years of age, her parents imigrated to America and settled in Lansing, Cook County, Ill. Here she received her schooling and was confirmed in the Lutheran church os which she remained a faithful member throughout her life.

On January 1, 1879, she entered into holy wedlock with Mr. Reuben Baldwin. In 1884 the family moved to O'Brien county, which was then in the early stages of development. The marriage union of Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin was blessed with six children. Four of thos preceded the parents in death in tender years.

Feb. 11, 1922, Mrs. Baldwin's life companion was called to his rest. After this she made her home with her son, Mr. John Baldwin, on the farm which she and her husband had acquired.

For some years past, Mrs. Baldwin's strength was failing. During the last years of her life she was unable to leave her home and was in need of constant care Last Thursday noon she peacefully passed. He are was 72 years, 1 month, __.

She is mourned by one __ Baldwin, one daughter __ Grimberg, 7 grandchildren, 1 grandchild, one brother and __.

Funeral services were held __ afternoon in St. John's Church, Germantown. After a brief __ in the home of Mr. John Baldwin, a funeral sermone was ___ Church. The body was buried at St. John's Lutheran cemetery __ her husband and several children.
