Jerry Griggs, aged 43 years, was killed at the home of his parents in Baker township, Wednesday afternoon while moving a building with a horse power windlass. The sweep broke away from the horses he was driving and flying back struck him a terrible blow in the stomach, from the effects of which the unfortunate man died soon after the accident happened. He leaves a family. The funeral will take place Saturday. Interment in the Sheldon cemetery. - Sheldon Mail April 28th.
