Mrs. Jerry (Juliana) G. Vander Pol, daughter of Adrian and Coba Pennings, was born August 2, 1939. She lived her youth and attended school at Sioux Center and Paullina, Iowa.. She was united in marriage to Gerard (Jerry) Vander Pol on February 13, 1959 at Sheldon, Iowa. They lived at Sheldon following their marriage. She was a Home Interiors Displayer for the past ten years. She was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Sheldon, Iowa: an active member of Area Bible Studies; a leader of Friendship Bible Study at Village N.W. Unlimited; past President and member of the Sheldon Federated Women's Club; member of Focus of N.W. Iowa; past member of the Teen Scene Board of Directors, Volunteer Coordinator with Babes Program in Sheldon; and the Sheldon Centennial Queen in 1972.

She passed away on November 29, 1990 at the Northwest Iowa Health Center of Sheldon, Iowa, at the age of 51 years, 3 months, and 27 days.

She is survived by her husband Jerry; two daughters, Mrs. Bryan (Brenda Lee) Godbersen of Sheldon, Iowa, Mrs. Kirk (Janet Rae) Rozeboom of Hartley, Iowa; one son, Bradley Lynn Vander Pol of Sheldon, Iowa; a foster daughter, Rose White of Sheldon, Iowa; five grandchildren; her mother, Coba Pennings of Sheldon, Iowa; two brothers, Henry Pennings and Ivan Pennings both of Sheldon, Iowa; seven sisters, Mrs. Alan (Marlene) Vande Kamp of Rock Valley, Iowa, Mrs. Vern (Leona) Vande Kamp of Orange City, Iowa, Mrs. Bob (Ada) Geels of Sheldon, Iowa, Irene Schmidt of Sioux Center, Iowa, Mrs. Bob (Helen) Bajema of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Deanne Pennings of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Sheila Jones of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her father Adrian Pennings.
