Craig Hollenbeck, age 54, of Sheldon, Iowa, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at his home in Sheldon.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Andringa Funeral Home Sheldon Funeral Service in Sheldon. Pastor Craig Nissen officiating.
Cremation will be after the Funeral Service.
Craig Lee Hollenbeck was born on June 1, 1958 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the son of Galen Arthur and Joyce Martha (Morrow) Hollenbeck. He lived his youth in Minneapolis where he attended Roosevelt High School. He moved to Sutherland, Iowa where he attended high school and graduated.
Craig served in the United States Army. He served one tour of duty and was medically discharged.
He worked construction in northwest Iowa and also freelanced doing construction work. He injured his back and was scooter bound.
Craig enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and scooter races with his son, Walker. He also liked to play cards and watch professional football on TV
He died on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at his home in Sheldon, Iowa.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children: Jeffrey R. Zink of Wittier, CA, Kayla Hollenbeck of Buena Park, CA, Walker Hollenbeck of Sheldon, IA; two sisters: Lorraine and husband Merlin Baker of Edinburg, TX, Kayla Marie and husband William Crow of Bloomington, MN; one brother: Galen Arthur Jr. and wife Mary Hollenbeck of Colorado Springs, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
