P. C. Nicol, Former Courier Printer, Dies
P. C. Nicol [sic, Nichol], 67, of Sheldon, former employee of the Sutherland Courier, died at St. Joseph's hospital, Sioux City, Wednesday morning, November 3, following an injury received while at work Monday afternoon at the Sheldon Sun. Funeral services were held at Sheldon Saturday morning and burial was at Mason City.
Mr. Nichol, who was a printer by trade, worked at The Courier for several years for Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Noble and for Harlow Amundson. He left here 3 years ago and has since been employed at Sheldon. Surviving are the widow, a daughter, Mrs. P. L. Trumbull of Clear Lake, two sons, George Nichol of Mason City and Willis Nichol of the U. S. Navy, stationed at Pensacola, Florida.
