Melvin Souser, Former Sutherland Resident Dies at Council Bluffs

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Council Bluffs for Melvin Souser, 68, former Sutherland resident, who passed away Thursday. He had been in failing health for a long period of time, and was seriously ill only a few days before his death. He is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter and 6 grandchildren. Mrs. Mary Drake and Mr. and Mrs. John Drake, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Drake of Spencer, attended the funeral on Saturday. The deceased is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Mary Drake.
