Paullina Times Thurs Jul 29, 1920

On Sunday afternoon of this week Jul 25th, Mrs. Frank L Parke passd away at her home. She has been in poor health for a considerable time. A change for the worse came a few weeks ago which resulted in death.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. H. Lancaster, officiating. Internment was at Prairie View cemetery.
Jennie Moorhouse Parke was born in Somer twp, Champaign Co, IL on the 2nd of June 1856 and died at Paullina, Jul 25, 1920 being 64 years, one month, and 23 days of age at death. On Feb 24, 1886 she was united in marriage to Frank L parke in Champaign Co IL. Immediately after their marriage they moved to paullina which has been her home until this time. To this union three children were born, Leland Stanford, Leonard Cochron and Madge Moorhouse. Madge departed from this life May 25, 1910 at her home here.
The deceased leaves to mourn her death, her husband, Frank L Parke, and two sons Leland and Leonard now residing at Maricopa county and one brother, one sister residing at Little Rock Ark another at Dunkerton, IA and the one brother at Ontario IA. The death of Mrs. Parke marks the passing of one of Paullina's pioneer ladies. She was a lady who spent most of her time in her home and thus did not enjoy as broad acquaintance as some. But those who did know here held her in high esteem and respect.
