MINNIE A. MORFITT

Minnie Morfitt, age 84, Sheldon died Sunday at the Community Memorial Hospital, Sheldon. Funeral services are today (Wednesday) at 10:30 a.m. at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Chapel in Sheldon. Rev. George Gibson will officiate. Interment will be at East Lawn Cemetery, Sheldon, under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home, Sheldon.

Minnie Paulson was born Aug. 6, 1897, at Titonka, Iowa. She was a 1915 graduate of the Sheldon High School and taught in rural schools prior to her marriage on Nov. 5, 1919, to Walter Morfitt at Windom, Minn.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Edith (Mrs. Gary) Koerselman, Sheldon; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Rosenberger, Tonka Bay, Minn.; one brother, Wallace Poulson, Sheldon; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

~Per the SSDI, Minnie died in July 1982
