Died, at his residence in Grant township, August 20, 1888, Mr. Adrian Dek, aged nearly sixty years. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. Dunham, were held in the M.E. church, at Sutherland, at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Many sympathizing neighbors and friends followed the remains to the cemetery east of town, where they were interred. Mr. Dek was a highly respected citizen, a good neighbor and a man against whom no unkind word could be said.
