Funeral services for Clara E. Marolf, 82, Davenport and formerly of Moscow, were held May 17, 1995 at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home, Muscatine, with the Rev. Paul Ostrem officiating. Pallbearers were John Axel, Ron Axel, David Freers and Greg Lamb. Burial was in the Greenwood cemetery.

Clara Marolf died May 13 at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Davenport.

The daughter of C. Fred and Marie Lauber Marolf, she was born July 17, 1912 in Moscow.

She is survived by a sister, Wilma and her husband Chester Axel, Muscatine; 4 nephews, a niece and 4 cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gustave Schneider; a sister, Margaret Caudill; and 2 nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran church.
