Bernhard Hopp, of Muscatine, died suddenly in Davenport last Monday where he had gone to attend the M.V.A. meeting. He was a native of Germany and came to this country with his wife about 1869, settling on a farm near Columbus Junction where they continued to reside until 1905 when they moved to Muscatine. He was aged 57 years at the time of his death. The funeral at the time of his death. The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in Muscatine in charge of the I. O. O. F. lodge, with interment in the Greenwood cemetery.
