Funeral services for Melissa "Missy" Bickford Wilson Morrison, 35, West Liberty, were held March 2 at the West Liberty United Methodist church, with the Rev. Darwin Moore and the Rev. Mike Druhl officiating. Burial was in the North Prairie cemetery near West Liberty.

Mrs. Morrison died of gunshots wounds Feb. 27, at her home.

The daughter of Chuck and Joyce Isabel Bickford, she was born March 2, 1959 in Iowa City. She graduated from West Liberty high school in 1977. She married Robert "Bob" Morrison Nov. 5, 1977 in West Liberty.

Mrs. Morrison worked for Economy Advertising and Meta Communications in Iowa City as a typesetter.

She was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist church.

Mrs. Morrison is survived by 3 sons at home, Chad, Travis and Andy; her parents, Joyce and Jerry Wilson, Atalissa and Chuck and Cleva Bickford, New Lisbon, Wis.; 2 sisters, Janet and her husband Tom Bouland, Bettendorf and Peggy and her husband, Joe Salemink, Wilton; her grandmother, Lela Isabel, Atalissa and her great-uncle Joe Isabel, West Liberty.

Memorials may be made to an educational fund established for her children.
