Funeral services for Grace Roegler, 97, West Liberty, were held Aug. 21, 1993 at the West Liberty Chapel of Barker Funeral Home, with Chaplain Robert Ahlstrom officiating. Pallbearers were Jeffrey Keith, Timothy Keith, Steven Keith, Jerry Keith, Mark Lofgren and Robert Thomason. Burial was in the Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty.

Mrs. Roegler died Aug. 19 at Lutheran Homes in Muscatine, following an extended illness.

The daughter of Will and Anna Wiggle Roberts, she was born May 19, 1896. She married Allen Thomason Oct. 16, 1911. He died in 1964. She married Clarence Roegler in 1965 in West Liberty. He died in 1984.

Mrs. Roegler was postmistress in Centerdale for 11 years.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Lucille (Mrs. Wendall) Keith, Muscatine and Burnetta (Mrs. Ralph) Jensen, Mission, Texas; a son, Delbert Thomason, Atalissa; 7 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, a son, Robert in 1961 and a son who died in infancy.
